25 Indian CEOs to engage with around 50 Israel startups
The India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA) hosted the IAA CEO`s Tour to Israel in July 2017, with an aim to engage with leading Israeli startups in the field of technology and media. More than 25 CEOs from India`s leading media houses, agencies and markets received an opportunity to interact with top CEOs and CXOs from over 50 Israeli startups and understand the disruptions they are causing in various sectors of the market. Coming close on the heels of PM Modi`s Israel visit, the tour reinstates the commitment between business leaders of the two nations to engage in knowledge and idea exchange driven by business and technology.
Over 25 interactive sessions and a grand summit
According to Janak Sarda, JMD of Deshdoot Group, the tour had over 25 interactive meetings and an Israel-India MediaTech Summit in Tel Aviv. The interactive meetings focused on big-data, retail tech, digital creation, interactive publishing platform, consumer behavioral biometrics, immersive digital story telling, among others. The summit, organized to facilitate interaction between Indian delegation and over 300 Israel startups, helped the Indian CEOs to understand innovation in areas like fin-tech, agri-tech and other sectors.
